Emerson and I spent a lot of time out of the house today.
We had a lovely lunch at a place we went to on a whim called Grand Café Hollander. We had a whipped feta dish and their mussel specialty dish, both of which were absolutely heavenly. My turkey burger would’ve been better with some cheese, but it came with a very tasty curry ketchup on it…

Well, I TRIED to perform at a domestic violence spoken word event my friend organized today.
But I got so fuckin triggered that I couldn’t do it, which honestly says a lot about how effective the writers and organizer were, and ended up eating my favorite Milwaukee comfort food, Mad Chicken, instead. Emerson was also a phenomenal comfort. -Allēna
