Thorn in Y’all’s Side

Soooo during today’s most recent round of Internet Foraging, I came across this dubious little gem…

My internal medievalist, linguist, and my internal lack of gender are all screaming. Because, fortunately or unfortunately for everyone witnessing this beautiful piece of nonsense, this glorious character

is called a thorn, and it is actually pronounced like the “th” sound in the word “that”.

So, this incredible piece of Urban Dictionary nonsense is COMPLETELY FUCKING ACCURATE. 🤣😭

And if I haven’t been a big enough thorn in y’all’s side today, now I quite literally have been.
