What’s up, dorks! This is Lumine, a fellow dumpster goblin on this hell-rock we call Earth. Today, I’ve been tasked by the lovely Ashley System to do a guest post. I cannot think of anything, so let’s learn a random thing, because why the FUCK not!?
Lithium ion batteries are commonly found in a variety of electronic devices ranging from consoles to phones. The best part about these tiny fuckers is how you can recharge them over long periods of time before they yeetie-spagheetti off the rock. WEEEEELL, it’s a blessing and a curse.
Should one keep a device out of power tucked away in a drawer for long periods, said device will have to turn to the battery’s backup reserves in order to ah-ah-ah-ah stay alive. Obviously, this is bad, especially if you don’t see the damn thing for months upon months.
It’s recommended to keep any device being stored away charged between 20%-80% to preserve the poor lithium ion batteries.
So there we go, fools. Y’all just got schooled by the Cray System. [Insert obligatory mic-drop] Peace out, yo. Until next time!
Lumine, OUT~!
