Emerson has entered his first hospital stay of the month.

This one is for an extended seizure study/test. It should last about 5 days. It will be the second longest we’ve been apart and the only time we’ve been apart since getting married. I’m worried about him and also about being alone this long. I’ve had an exhausting day so far and it hasn’t even been a full day alone..

I am going to try to go to sleep now so that whatever things tomorrow brings hopefully don’t exhaust me as much. That’s the hope, anyway.
